Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest, will remain open at the conservatory until May. The exhibit is managed by Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo, which will also host educational programs and daily interactive sessions with the animals.
The rainforest animals that will be on display include the Common Marmoset, Brazilian Short Tailed Opossum, Emerald Tree Boa, Jungle Carpet Python, Red Footed Tortoise, Emperor Scorpions, Cuviers Dwarf Caiman, Panther Chameleon, White’s Tree Frog and the Reticulated Python.
Entrance to the exhibit is included with admission to the Butterfly Conservatory: $12.95 for adults (ages 13+), $8.25 for children (6-12 years), with children five and under admitted FREE (prices in Cdn. plus tax). Classic rock legends Lynard Skynard will be taking the stage at the Avalon Theatre tonight and tomorrow for a show that won’t soon be forgotten.
